When asked to provide acoustical assistance in a newly built showroom for high-end watches so that both the client and sales assistant could hear and understand needs and requests without disrupting the room's beautiful architecture, we went to work.

The showroom had high ceilings, so we addressed the plain white ceiling with designer foam panels that added a touch of design and interest while providing powerful absorption for such a high ceiling.

Additionally, to put absorption closer to the clients and sales personnel, we installed fabric panels in a grey to match the existing walls. We placed them in areas close to the conversation without being in the way.

Our answer to the client was absorption, absorption, absorption in any form and of any interest we could add. The showroom is about 594 sq feet, and we installed 50% of the area with absorptive materials. We use lasers to make sure all measurements are exact before placement.

The outcome was not only tastefully accomplished but also improved the intelligibility of voices. Here is what our client said:
