The Larson Davis BAS006 is an impulsive sound source that is used for acoustical testing as well as calibrating sound level meters and other acoustic equipment. The impulsive sound source provides a short, precisely controlled burst of sound that can be used to assess the reverberation time (echo) within a space. The BAS006 provides highly accurate and consistent sound bursts, with a tolerance of +/- 1 dB, making it ideal for testing and comparing the reverberation time of various types of spaces.
